This is a start trail was taken on the beach, looking back north. Had the ISO waaaay too high which gave too much grain, but thought I'd post it anyways cause I love the palm trees in the background. Kinda artsy I guess. 30 minute exposure. After I realized the problem, I adjusted my settings and tried again, however I fell asleep in the sand on the beach waiting for it, and my camera battery died! boo! But what a beautiful night it was to star gaze.
This is a star trail taken just behind the beach over a lake. After falling asleep and having my battery die, I tried this one on our back porch. Almost waited too long on it since it's so bright, but still got a pretty cool effect. This was about a 20 minute exposure.
